Pentridge Arts acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians on whose lands Pentridge are situated on. We acknowledge and respect the histories, both indigenous and non-indigenous, present at Pentridge.

Exploring Creativity, Culture and the Arts

In 2021, Pentridge Arts was launched with Pentridge Studios being set up alongside Divisions Gallery. Divisions Gallery is a commercial gallery space that seeks to bring energy and creativity into Melbourne’s vibrant arts and culture community. We provide opportunities for our Resident Artists via their own curation of shows and provide exhibition space for local, emerging and mid-career artists. We promote community, inclusivity, and seek to bring interesting and dynamic local art to a greater audience.

Divisions Gallery

Divisions Gallery is one of Melbourne’s most distinctive exhibition spaces, nestled within the bluestone walls of Pentridge and with views over the former A and H Divisions of Pentridge. Divisions Gallery exhibitions are accompanied by a dynamic range of public programs that provide rich context to the interpretation and understanding of art.
